John E. Thohate Maracle (Mohawk)
Chief/President and General Presbyter

As a member of the Wolf Clan within the Mohawk Nation of the Iroquois Confederacy, Maracle served on the Mohawk Council at Tyendinaga, Mohawk Nation Territory. He is the grandson of
one of the first Pentecostal believers from his reservation. 
Chief Maracle was ordained and appointed as an AG U.S.missionary in 1975. 
He has served as pastor of congregations on the Keshena Territory of the Menomonee Nation in Wisconsin; the Catturagus Territory of the Seneca Nation in New York; the Akwesasne Territory of the Mohawk Nation, which is located at the juncture of New  York, Ontario, and Quebec; and in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Central Bible College and a Master of Arts from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary at 
Evangel University.

Vernice (Cheri) Sampson (Akimel Authum)

Cheri Sampson made history when she became the first female
Native American presbyter to serve in the Assemblies of God.
She was elected by the Phoenix Metro Indian Section of the Arizona
District Council. Cheri is the pastor of Salt River Indian Assembly
of God in Scottsdale, Arizona.


Brent J. Sakoneseriiosta Maracle (Mohawk)
Secretary/General Presbyter

As a member of the Turtle Clan within the Mohawk Nation of the Iroquois Confederacy, Maracle played on the Iroquois National Lacrosse team from
1989-1995. He was raised on the Akwesasne Territory of the Mohawk Nation. Maracle holds a Bachelor of Science from Evangel University and a Masters degree in Government from Harvard University. He worked for a leading financial institution for 15 years, as well as consulted American Indian and First Nations governments, prior to entering full-time pastoral ministry. Maracle served the Southern New England District of the Assemblies of God as the Royal Rangers Director from 2012-2017. He has served in his current role as the Lead Pastor at Christ Revolution Church (Lexington, MA) since 2012.


Marvin Begay (Navajo)
General Presbyter

Pastor Marvin leads the congregation at All Nations
Assembly of God in Albuquerque, NM. He served the Native American Fellowship as the National Native Youth Director for several years. Prior to his current role at All Nations, he was the Lead Pastor at Canyon Day Assembly of God on the Whiteriver Apache Territory in Arizona. Begay holds a Bachelor of Arts from American Indian College.
